Hello,
First we tried to install Norton Internet Security 2009 on this computer with Windows XP SP2. The installation failed during the first step. We get the Introduction window and after that we click on 'Install Norton...' and nothing is happening.
Then this same computer was reinstalled from scratch with all the Windows Updates installed: SP3 etc... But the installation issue is still the same. What do we need to do ? We just bought a full licence and we can't use it !!
For your information, the Temp directories of Windows and the profile were already cleaned up after these problems and without any results.
