I have had many problems since installing NIS2011, most of which have now been resolved. However, during one session with a tech, she uninstalled and re-installed the NIS2011 to ascertain whether, indeed, the Norton program was causing the multiple problems I was encountering---and, in fact, these problems no longer existed after she uninstalled NIS2011.
However, after weeks of addressing these problems, most of the stated problems have been resolved----except for one. My Installshield Manager Drive appears to have been corrupted, possibly during the uninstallation of the NIS2011. I tried uninstalling the Installshield Manager drive and re-installing it, but each time I try to use it, I obtain an error message. I went to the website of the company which now owns it and downloaded an updated driver, but this is not helping---I still get the same error message.
I have Windows XP SP3 32 bit on a desktop.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
