We have a new PC running on Windows 7 with Norton 360 v.4.3.0.5 and I can no longer use my beloved Outlook Express. I downloaded Windows Live Mail and do not like it at all. I've been looking to see what other email software is available but don't want to download/purchase anything else only to find out that Norton 360 cannot integrate with it.
Is there a list of integrated email clients available? We're long time users of Norton products (since '91) and are very happy with the security and peace of mind Norton gives us; we really like the way that client integration works (especially the handy-dandy empty spam folder command) .......... thanks for any help you are able to provide
the additional toolbar you wish to see is only available in Outlook Express (XP), Windows Mail (Vista, it's not the same as WLMail), and in all Microsoft Office Outlook verisons since 2002 (32-bit). The 64-bit version of Office Outlook 2010 is not yet supported.
Additionally Norton 360 basicly works with every email clients on the world until you use the default SMTP and POP3 ports to download and upload mails. When mails are downloading to your inbox, those will be scanned, and if any of it is suspicious, it will be marked as [Norton Spam].
Thanks for your reply PapauZ - I've been reading through some of the threads here and realize that Norton 360 is still protecting my email but I miss it's functionality within the email software itself. *sigh* - I sure hope that MS starts behaving like a good corporate citizen soon and releases whatever info Norton needs in order to be able to integrate properly with WLM (which I still hate - what a cluttered mess just to read emails ) - thanks again!

Your welcome! :)
If you want to try an other email client, I would suggest you to try out Office Outlook. You can check what's inside the package, and get a 60-day trial version:
