Issue abstract: Norton Driver Update

Detailed description: Intel Display Drivers (ARC)

OS details: Windows 11 Pro

What is the error message you are seeing? Intel Display Drivers keeps on telling me that there is an update for the driver, however the newer driver is from Intel (32.x.x…) and keeps on telling me that the newer driver is (old 31.x.x..).

@wmchin Not using AI for a reply here, only common sense and experience in hand. The bottom line here is, use your OEM website for drivers and other software. Driver Updater is recommended to be used with “exetreme caution”, it is NOT accurate a large percentage of the time. Windows prioritizing drivers is nonsense. Microsoft and other companies work directly with one another to provide the best driver for overall consumer consumption. Use Windows Update and/or the Intel website to be absolutely sure you are getting the best drivers available.
