Internet connection stops working after Norton is installed

Ok I had a  New Lenovo 900 have a keyboard key go bad  I made a disk image they sent me a new one with identical hard ware and I reestablished the old data with the image.

The only other problem I had was transferring the Office suite license to the new machine.

Whenever I try to install my Comcast Norton subscription it installs and will even update but as soon as it runs for a few minutes all Internet Connection through either Microsoft Edge or Firefox is cutoff and Norton itself says it can't communicate with the Norton Server. But is will still update suggesting only the out connection is being blocked.

Also tried disabling firewall inside of Norton and turning off as much stuff inside it as

possible with no joy. I had been working on a the previous computer I wonder it there was a new release in January.

Also support was able to continue troubleshooting even when the out connection was

blocked.

As soon as I uninstall Norton I get the Internet back and if I install Macafee it will work.

I tried calling support a couple of times but they couldn't get it going . I notice this seems to be a somewhat common problem after googling it . Is there a new release that has problems . Since I am paying for this through Comcast I would like it to work so I don't

have to buy some other company's product. Been using Norton for years usually without an

issue like this.
