Hello, so I have been having an issue with IE 11 that has been irritating me for the last couple of days. It seems I have a problem opening certain website and getting them to load properly. Usually I have to refresh the site several times for the pictures to show up or for the site to load properly. It predominantly seems to happen on sites that load advertisements or have a bunch of pictures. For example when I try to open youtube, more often then not I have to refresh it a couple of times for all the images to load properly and the video stream occasionally freezes prompting me to have to refresh again. On other pages with pictures, I will see a blank box where the image is suppose to be with a small "x" in the corner of the box. I have to refresh several times to get these images to appear. Strangely enough, it does not seem to be a problem with sites like msn or yahoo that have a lot of pictures..those show up fine once the advertisements load. Occasionally, I will get a "page cannot be displayed" error...I will refresh and the page will come up..sometimes complete or sometimes missing images which will prompt another refresh.
Sometimes it appears like my computer is struggling to load the images or advertisements. Failure to load them usually requires me to either refresh the page to restart IE. My video card is an NVIDIA and drivers all appear to be updated and functioning.
I don't think it is malware as I scan my computer very frequently with Norton Security as well as the free versions of Malwarebytes Superantispyware. I also use Norton Power Eraser several times to make sure I am not missing anything.
Any help/advise will be appreciated.
Thanks :)
Oh an I ma using Win 10..latest version
Hi,
Can you post some information about your system, like the Operating System, version of Internet Explorer and security programs you have installed? If you have a Norton product installed can you tell us which one and what version? Anything that you think might be relevant as we can't see your computer, so the more information we have will help us to help you.
Have you had any other problems with this computer? Do you have the same problem with the same sites on another computer (if you can access one)? Have you tried those sites with another browser like Firefox 28 or Google Chrome?
Thanks!
" "Internet Explorer has stopped working"
Hi,
Look at Event Viewer, section Errors, and there should be more info on what module is causing IE to crash.
Post the results.
Regards,
When I click on "EVENT VIEWER" it wants to download another malware program. I already have Spyhunter4. Is it a good idea to have more than 1 scanner? I'm concerned that they'll interfere with each other.

It's impossible.
Windows Event Viewer is a native OS utility which shows detailed info about all events occuring on your system.
It doesn't download anything.
Please check again and see the logs there.
What OS do you have??

Spyhunter4 has realtime protection, I believe, so NO it is not a good idea to have more than one realtime protection program!
Here's a thread you perhaps should read about your Spyhunter 4.

I had a similar problem. Internet explorer stopped working and I got a message saying so. I checked the log on event viewer and it said a faulting module path was ccset.dll. I looked up the file name and it seems to be a norton file associated with NIS. We have N360 on our computer, though. Could this be a problem?
Hi caleb89sw,
I suggest that you start a new topic for your problem with IE.
