In the list, look for GoToMyPC, if it is not there click on add at the bottom and look up the file that GoToMyPC use, and set it as Allow.

Close Norton, save the settings and check if it works.

Click modify to access the rules for GoToMyPC, and make sure that it is allowed access to and from the web on your boss's computer.

I use GoToMyPC to access my boss's computer at his second residence. He installed Norton 360 (with the help of your techs), and since then, GoToMyPC consistently says he's off line, even though I have him on the telephone and I know he's ON line.  I had him reinstall GoToMyPC, but that didn't help. My best guess is that part of 360's "security" has him blanked out.

We *really* need GoToMyPC ... it allows us to work long-distance. This is a Norton problem ... PLEASE tell me what to tell him to do so we can get back to working again!

TIA for your assistance.

Hello LeeB.

The first thing you should try is to disable the firewall in Norton and see if you can access his "GoToMyPC".
1. Open Norton 360

2. Click Settings.

3. Click Firewall Protection

4. Untick the box next to Turn on Firewall.
Save the settings and check if you can connect or see the other computer.
If you can connect to the comuter now the repeat the steps above, tick the box next to Turn on Firewall and then click on the "Program Rules"-tab in the top.
In the list, look for GoToMyPC, if it is not there click on add at the bottom and look up the file that GoToMyPC use, and set it as Allow.

Close Norton, save the settings and check if it works.
