I just purchased a 3 PC version of Internet Security 2011 and installed the utilities disk, entered the product key with no problems. I have been trying to install the Internet Security software and when I attempt to type in the Product Key which starts with U9AY, it will not show the U or the A and a number of other letters.
I have never seen anything like this and thought it might be the keyboard, so I typed the product key into my Notepad thinking I could copy and paste it into the activation box, but that wouldn't work. I have even changed the keyboard thinking that might be an issue and it still won't allow me to enter certain letters.
I can't figure out what is going on and if I can't find an answer by tomorrow it goes back to Costco. Has anyone had this problem or know of a fix? I even deinstalled Norton 2010 thinking that this might be part of the problem and still can't enter certain letters from the Product Key. What is going on?

Thanks for answering my inquiry. I realize now that the card I was looking at with the activation key was for Utilities. I didn't realize there would be a second card, which was not in the box. I guess I have to return this to Costco and get a new one.
The box didn't look as if it was opened, so maybe the card was simply left out at the factory. Thanks, I was going nuts and never realized the reason the number I had was for the Utilities only.
Very often the KEY for a CD version is on the white jacket that the CD comes in -- have you checked that?
If you still have a problem after talking with COTCO -- and looking inside another box? -- do let us know and we can give you a link to Norton's OnLine Support via CHAT which users tell us is the best for sorting out subscriptions etc. They can even arrange a refund for you if COSTCO are being difficult about it being an opened package ......
