window opened saying a trojan had been blocked.when i clicked on details, Norton 360 opened and it said internet security not set up.but it was specifically for chrome browser. do i have to put this on?
was the pop up legit? where is icon to insert image. this new format is not an improvement at all.

that was not the popup. the popup was a regular security alert that came out from the right hand side of the screen and said click here for details.when iclickedon details i already described what opened. sorry about spacing and typos.
the image wouldn’t load. i tried. itwasthe horizontal rows of 360 and was toinstall safeweb and specific security forchrome browser.
whose idea was this change?eveything worked fine before

i couldn’t get the details.i’m wondering if the securityalert was fake.but youdid’tanswer my original question. I HAVEinternet security, obviously. why do i need more for Chrome browser? it’s forsafesite, phishing,spam etc. I ALREADY HAVE security in Norton 360
Have you looked in Security History for related event?
Since, you mention Safe Web. I can only assume Norton prompting you to install Safe Web extension.
