Meet Zach Latta, a 17-year-old student who started HackEDU, in order to bring coding to schools across the country. We stumbled upon this amazing hero while searching for the next generation of cyber heroes. He started to express interest in coding at the tender age of seven years old, and taught himself how to code by utilizing what he could find on the Internet. He started HackEDU so that children like him can have access to resources in schools across the country in order to learn how to code. HackEDU is a nonprofit organization that provides the tools needed for starting and leading clubs, including a baseline coding curriculum, free software tools, and community building training.
