On first install Norton Internet Security functions without a problem; however after a reboot, the Intrusion Prevention fails and I keep on getting error messages popping up. I've used the Norton uninstall utility, then run ccleaner to make sure the registry is clean. I then reinstalled and on first use, everything is fine. It's only after Norton Update has run and the machine rebooted that Intrusion Prevention fails again.
I'm running Norton Internet Security 2010 on a Windows 7 32bit hand-built machine (Intel P965, Intel Core Duo E6420 running an SSD 64gb and 2 samsung T1s in mirrored Raid).
Any help gratefully appreciated.
