Intrusion Prevention is reported as not operational on NS 22.12.0.104

Starting Feb. 13, 2018, I am running Norton Security (NS) version 22.12.0.104 on my Windows Server 2008 R2 STD.

After the installation of the product everything was running fine. I then restart the machine a couple of times. Then the Intrusion Prevention is not operational message started to come up as you can see in the screen capture.

I tried to Fix Now; however, it did not help to resolve the issue.
I contacted Norton support in at the case case number
34108728. And Sunil advised me to contact the forum support was I can reach a deveoper here.
I have the support bundle which is 55MB.

As of before Feb. 13, 2018, the same machine was having Norton Internet Security version 21.7.0.11 and running fine for years with out an issue with the NIS.

Could some please help me to resolve this issue?

Thank you.

Hello Tom. This is the OS compatibility listing for Norton consumer products, I do not see Windows Server 2008 listed as being compatible: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v110635648_EndUserProfile_en_us

What you should be using is Symantec Endpoint on WS 2008 as it is fully compatible : https://www.symantec.com/products/endpoint-protection/requirements
