Is there some way to test, or file or process to look up to ensure that Intrusion Protection is working properly??
I just want to ensure that this protection element is working.
I have done 3 uninstall/installs (even with NRT) and the below situation remains with the history log.
Running XP-Pro SP2, IE 7, Ghost 10, NIS 2010 ver 17.5.0.127
One Click Support shows everything as OK.
Intrusion Protection HIstory Issue:
The Main screen shows everything as "Secure" including Intrusion Prevention (which shows as ON). The Settings Tab show everything as ON. However, the "History" > Intrusion Protection only shows this as loading and being detected as of the time of the initial installation and then 2 more times. I have done numberous shut downs and boot ups with none appearing in the History area.
On the Main screen, if I turn Intrusion Prevention from ON to OFF, the screen immediately gives me a red "At Risk" and when I turn it back ON, the Main screen immediately gives me a green "Secure".
This ON then OFF is also not reported on the Intrusion Protection history screen.
