Norton Ultimate keeps flagging 5 drivers as obsolete or needing update. When I go to the manufacture website they say my drivers are current and valid. Any idea how to get Ultimate to stop flaggng valid drivers
do you got driver updater on you pc i has som inside info to you it is a bug in the norton utilities only download driver updateren when you need it because i now it is stupid but they are working on a 24.4 miner i call it the 24.4 mega miner it is meant to remove all bugs in the norton utilities and the 25.1 is not coming before all bugs is fix that patch take the same time to make ass a major because all bugs need to go and when the 24.4 miner ore 24.5 if they upgrade it to a major that patch will fix all you problem expect the patch about end next mouth he say it is bad that it is just what he think you can do many thing you cant do else if you use the uninstaller you remove all windows control panel cant do that it only remove about 75% what about the 25% it cant remove norton utilities take alle 100% plus it can remove old windows files easyer then the normal way plus much more i got a list of what it can you cant see i can send it to you if you like the new also has a ram reclaimer and a net booster plus much more it just run auto and it also whas meant to has a advance controlpanel but they forgot it it is in the 25.1 they has promis it
@Robert_Houghtby Get rid of NU and do exactly what you are doing already. Use the OEM websites and Windows Updates. Utilities were an added value back in the day, they’re just snake oil with modern OS’s. Just my advice.

Not sure if there is an update to this theme. I have Norton Utilities Ultimate, which warns me tthat if found “0 unstable drivers” and suggests to subscribe the driver updater.(14 Sept. 2025)

Du bestemmer selv om du bruger de produkter men de bliver bedre og bedre men som det er nu er norton utilities bare død lige nu den har for mange fejl men senior teamet ved det
@KErdi That is a sell-up scare for purchasing NU. You DO NOT need 3rd party tools to keep your computer tidy and up to date. Windows Updates will deliver drivers for most hardware, and you will always have the OEM website to get updates from. Don’t use Norton Utilities is our recommendation, if you chose to do so, please use extreme caution. Your computer, as others have already had to deal with, could be rendered not bootable.

Its definitely NOT reporting correctly, which is false scare tactic to make some folks buy. I know for a fact my drivers are as updated as can be. Its telling me I have 20 outdated drivers… I didnt purchase the product to be bombed with constant marketing ads. Ill not be renewing any of the products after subscription is up… I have this on my parents(in their 70’s) and this is just a panic button for anyone not tech savy…. KNOCK IT OFF
You can’t…it’s all part of their corporate bully model. They’re trying to sell you additional products. Check out the supposed driver issues using windows update, manufacturer utilities etc. If they say they are all good….ignore Norton. They’ve become a corrupt douche bag company. SO SAY WE ALL.
