I renewed my norton 360 subscrition and I keep getting an "invalid key" on my new subscription. I tried uninstalling it, downloading it again but the subscription remains inactive and it has already been charged to my credit card.
A renewal should not change the product key. If the old subscription expired before you 'renewed' it would still use the same product key if you did use the actual renewal process.
I think you need to do what Krusty13 suggested above and contact Norton support to get this key issue sorted. www.norton.com/contactcs If using the chat function, as soon as you can enter any information, enter "agent please". That will get you out of the chat bot and connected to a human.
What can I do if I renewed the subscription after the subscription period ended? Could that be the problem and if so how can I fix it?
I payed the renewel process but it is not picking up on the new subscription and the producto key is diferent then the previous subscription, now the "renewed subscription".
Did you use the actual renewal process, or did you purchase a new subscription from Norton. If you did an actual renewal, you might have gotten a renewal key/code. You would not enter that where you would normally enter a product key.
Having said that, if you did use the Norton renewal process, you should not have to enter anything. Your Norton product would pick up the new expiry date.
It might be a good idea to contact Customer Support as we have no way to help with account issues.
I renewed my subscrition on my norton account and I tried adding my producto key online, on their webpage.
Where did you purchase your new subscription?
Are you entering the product key without any spaces?
