I tried to get the current 16.5 update to my currently bought German "Norton AntiVirus 2009 Kompakt". Tried first, got message that my key is invalid, thought maybe that's the "Kompakt" drawback. But today i found this entry in "Solutions Library": Error: "Invalid Product Key" when you install Norton AntiVirus Kompakt. So I tried again following the advice. First difference was I wanted to download German, so I tried "NAV09DE.exe". Is that the problem? In the end I again get the message that my key is invalid, maybe stolen, maybe marked as installed on too many systems. I only installed this one copy on this one notebook of mine. Following links does not lead anywhere (only I should send my package by snail mail to Ireland).
What to do?
Is there simply no way to get 16.5 update for "Kompakt"?
What's this "Solution" entry for which just describes standard setup dialog?
