Iolo System Mechanic is identified as incompatible with latest Norton 360 Premier Edition

On installation of latest Norton 360 Premier Edition the previously  installed "iolo System Mechanic"  was identified as  incompatible.

 

I have both of these products active at present, what are the ramifications for PC security?

 

Will I need to uninstall "iolo System Mechanic"?

What are the specific incompatibility's? Can they coexist if the incompatibility's can be avoided?

 

Any help please?

Please choose ONLY one active security product. They do not play well together. Both are trying to do the same job and occupy the same space. The conflicts will reduce your protection and may crash your system.

If iolo has a free version of their scanner it may be possible to keep that available for a second opinion. I use/recommend Malwarebytes free scanner most times. I know it is Norton compatible.
