Just got the phone. Immediately purchased mobile security, but all I get is lame app that says anti theft or backup …? Thought I was also buying app and internet protection for £20 …? Tried following download links in online management but just end up back in App Store on the same thing. Phone is on iOS 7.0.3. What am I missing?
Hi Cw4444 - Welcome to The Norton Community.
Unforutnatly there is no Web Browser Protection with the iOS version of Norton Mobile Security ( NMS ),
the following features can be used with Apple devices -
•Find your lost iPhone or iPad on a map with the remote locate feature.
•Trigger a “scream” alarm to quickly locate a lost phone or tablet
•Backup your contacts and easily restore them or share across all your mobile devices
•If you lose your iPhone or iPad and forgot to lock it, remote call lets you place an Internet call to your missing device and make arrangements to get it back (if device is locked then call will not be answerable)
•Control security for all your mobile devices through one convenient website
If you have a 25 character product key for the Norton Mobile Security ( NMS ) product and would like to
install it on your iOS iPhone 5 c you could try the following.
Click on the link below which will take you to the NMS website where you can registeryour NMS product.
https://mobilesecurity.norton.com/
Then in the NMS website page top right of screen click on Register a Purchase then on the next page
enter your product key and register and activate the NMS product.
Then you should be able to download NMS from iTunes App Store on your iOS device then open the app and sign
in and register the device with the Norton Account details that you would have used to activate the NMS product on
the NMS website.
If the NMS product is already linked to your Norton Account and was purchased from the Norton Online Store
all you should have to do is again go to the NMS website from the link above and click on the option of Click here
to install Norton Mobile Security then sign in with your Norton Account details then select the iOS device and
then on the next page enter an email address for which a email can be sent with a link to install NMS on your iOS
device. ( Email must be read and sent to the iOS device that NMS is intended for ).
Open the email and click on Setup Now which should direct you to the NMS app in the App Store app on your
iOS device. Download it and again open the app and sign in with the Norton Account details linked to the Norton
Account with the NMS product.
If the link does not work i guess you could just go to the App Store app on your iPhone and find the NMS app and
download NMS sign in and register the device and and activate NMS on your iOS iPhone
Hopefully one of the steps above will help to install and activate NMS on your iOS device.
And remember that Symantec Norton offers a full 60 day refund policy on all Norton products if for some reason

PS - On the subject on Web Browser protection Norton Offers an iOS app in iTunes called Norton Identity
Safe which has it's own Internet Browser which uses the great Safe Web feature that Symantec Norton offers
that will warn you of unsafe websites when surfing the internet with the iOS Norton Identity Safe app browser.
And of course it also offers the Norton Identity Safe Password Management feature for storing and using Passwords

I have purchased used iphone, and it was locked to att carrier. I have unlocked it using online iphone unlock service, so they told me It will work with Norton™ Mobile Security. will it ? Thanks.
The notes above still apply. The Norton Mobile Security for iPhones only offers the Find my Phone, and backup of Contacts. Both of these features are available for free from Apple using the iCould.
Tbh unless your iPhone is rooted then you do not need antivirus software.
