As per the topic : need to factory reset IPhone SE 2020 and do not want to lose Norton 360 licence and have to use up a new licence when I come to re-install

Your license is stored in your Norton Account if you purchased directly from Norton, or in the Apple App Store if you purchased the subscription through the App Store.

So you can go ahead with your factory reset. Then go to the Apple App Store and install 360. During the installation process look for “I already have a subscription” or Sign in. Tap that and sign into your Norton Account to activate the product.
