I'm using Windows 7 ... I still have 18.1 version for Norton
The first attempt happened on 12/25 - Http fake av request 1 - offending url - bs.serving-sys - ip 63.247.64.185
ran Norton full scan came up with nothing.
then last night when I was using the Norton search engine to try and see what bs.serving-sys was about
then bam I get another notification -offending url - ss.ask.com/bs.serving-sys - ip 66.235.120.111
So now I am a bit worried w/i a couple days I get another hit with bs.serving-sys as maybe the common dominator.
When I get home tonight I will D/L Malwarbytes to see if something could be on my computer.
{knock on wood} nothing seems to be out of sorts.
And from searching the boards it says Norton is doing its job by blocking these "attempts"
I guess my question is these are just "attempts" and when it states no action required nothing is getting by??
I did on Sunday added the add block plus to Firefox - this is an ok thing to use?
Any and All help ... guidance would be greatly appreciated. Trying not to freak out. LOL
Thank you,
Dawn
