As you all are aware for sure there are many problems and issues with software.

Some are minor bugs and some not so minor as well as missing features. These can represent programming logic flaws as well as design flaws. Sometimes it is the programmer and sometimes it is the analyst and yes sometimes it is the tester.

Software seems to either be end-of-life or in process of change. I would be willing to bet as much as $5 (big gambler that I am) that Norton is preparing or in the process of changing many of the bugs reported in V24 and at some point will say “New version available Norton 360 for Windows V24.xxx.xxx.xxx”.

Yes that is the not so simple answer to the OP simple question. Keep reporting those bugs to Norton and we all will be happy when the new code is released.

Indeed. We never know if that will be next week, next month or ever in some instances since we aren’t privy to that inside information unfortunately.

Well I guess that’s somewhat of an answer, was hoping for something more official since this is Norton’s website.
It really stinks that the only options we seem to have coming from all the posts I’ve read are:
(1) revert to an older version, so that you can use your device normally, but not be protected
OR
(2) be fully protected with the new version and lose whatever percentage of functionality you are dealing with on your device.
Great choice!
