Is Ghost 15 Full Trial version really fully Trial-able?

I've been using ghost in the corporate environment for IBM for the last 10 years and I am several versions behind. Version 15 peeked my interest on being suitable but....  When i do what i feel is ghost normal function...   backup a hardrive or (cold backup) i get a screen asking me for the activation key...with no way to state it is the trial version etc.

The pdf manual states create the Symantec Recovery Disk, reboot and proceed from there.  Worked like a charm..but as soon as i click to backup the harddrive...it will not proceed without the key.

Whats the skinny?!  Can this standard ghost function not be trialed?

The advantage in the non-DOS versions of Ghost is the ability to make "Hot" images while inside windows and using your system for other tasks.  That allows you to be able to schedule backups that happen automatically without having to boot to DOS.

You can do all those in the trial version, you can make images in windows and restore them from the recovery disk.

But you can't make cold images from the recovery disk and you can't make a custom recovery disk in trial mode.

I guess it depends what yor going to be using it for, I still use DOS based image programs on a couple systems of mine because I don't need regular scheduled images and I don't mind making them manually.  But I use Ghost 15 with daily incremental images on my main system that holds all my important data.
