Is it possible that Norton interferes with operations of pCloud preventing it from running?

I have Norton Security (NortonLifeLock) version 22.23.3.8 on my Windows 8.1 PC.  I also use pCloud (cloud disk drive), which integrates through their .NET software application into File Explorer as drive P:, just like Dropbox or OneDrive.  pCloud stopped working on or about 2023-04-14, which corresponds with the date Norton Security last installed/updated.  In event Viewer I found several: "Failed to create CoreCLR, HRESULT: 0x80004005" related to pCloud.
Is it possible that Norton interferes with operations of pCloud preventing it from running?  If so, please advise what should I change in Norton settings to rectify the problem.  When I tried to chat with Norton Support, I got a case number (<removed>), but no chat window comes up.

Thank you, SoulAsylum.  LiveUpdate took me to 22.23.4.6 right away.  Unfortunately, that changed nothing.  pCloud is very important to me.

pCloud gives regular updates, but this problem does not seem to be related to any of these updates (I would have noticed at once).  I am in touch with pCloud support, they are puzzled; they asked me about my .NET versions, my VPN and Internet Security, and then I noticed that the problems coincided in time with one of Norton updates, thus this post.

I did not find a way to examine the Norton action history to see if it reported incidents with pCloud or .NET.  Please advise how to do that.

Yes, I have considered upgrading to Windows 10 and decided against it, based on what I read on the Internet.  Windows 8.1 is a sweet spot for me, regardless of Microsoft support.

Update to last post; There is a patch released that will take your Norton product to version 22.23.4.6, that release MAY correct your issue. Please advise when you have it installed and checked.

Hello. The latest version of Norton is 22.23.4.5 and was released earlier than 04-14-2023, please run Live Updates and see if you are offered that update patch. The event "Failed to create CoreCLR, HRESULT: 0x80004005" appears to be related to the .NET/ASP runtime environment. Did you recently get an update to your p-Cloud software? Is there anything in your Norton history that shows Norton has blocked anything related to p-Cloud? If so please post a screenshot for us to review. Here is how: https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-post-image-forums-0

It is also worth noting that Windows 8.1 is no longer getting ANY updates, patches or support of any kind from Microsoft. Have you considered updating to Windows 10? Your Norton product will then no longer be in "maintenance mode" and will have features that are designed for a more modern OS.
