Hi,
I had Firefox 9 & NIS 2112 woking nicely untill I uninstall / reinstall NIS 2012.
Now no matter what I try NIS will not update Norton Toolbar from 2012.2.2 to 2012.2.2.5.
I have tried every conceivable combination of installation & updating possible.
(Norton first, Firefox first, Firefox 8 updated to 9, Firefox 9 you name it)
Is it possible to force Norton Toolbar to update from 2012.2.2 to 2012.2.2.5?
Can I download a new coFFPlgn.dll?
Can I please get a reply that has something to do with my post?
It is unfortunately the answer for your problem :(.
The Toolbar version you need requires the 19.2.0.10 patch, and until that is not installed the toolbar patches cannot be installed as well.
Please read the post from Tony Weiss (Norton Community Administrator) and the topic I linked for you in my previous post.
Hello BigEdMan,
What PapauZ was trying to say, was that there currently wasn't a way to force the update.
However, since we've posted 19.5, you should be able to run LiveUpdate to download all the patches and updates for Firefox to get it up and running for you.
Let us know if running LiveUpdate helps!
