I usually run manual NIS live update sessions several times a day, mostly out of habit. Wondering if rather than doing so, can I use Win (Vista x.86) Task Scheduler to automate this process? If "yes" what NIS file name would I have to config Task Scheduler to invoke? My reason for asking is that I'm uncertain as to whether NIS routinely runs background live update sessions throughout the day when the system is turned on, and what the interval is, if it in fact does run automatic update sessions.
TIA -
Brian
