LinkedIn gives a suggestion of "people you might know". Does anyone have any information on how they obtain that list of people?
After searching the Web for how they do it, i found this scary piece of information:
"Based on sent or received emails, LinkedIn recommends members you should invite to join your network. The LinkedIn 'people you may know' feature uses your email correspondence score, counting the number of emails sent to a particular person to determine whom you may want to invite."
LinkedIn has recommended people I don't know and do not want contacting me.
Isn't that a bit intrusive? Why doesn't NIS detect and quarantine this activity?
