IS NIS better than N360 even though N360 has computer performance options?

Well the NIS forums have much more posts and the fact that NIS got the 2011 update already. Is NIS better to use?

- thanks for your opinion.

Oh, I switched from NIS to N360 because it had more features. The comparison chart showed N360 having the same features as NIS plus the computer performance ones. So NIS is a better choice for advanced users and would better protect my computer?

Also do the virus definitions apply to all norton products? Or do NIS and N360 have different definitions?

Thanks.

Hello person

As far as antivirus definitons go, they get the same ones. From now until the spring when the new version 5 should be coming out I imagine based on previous years, NIS has the newer engine now. But N360 has already been given Sonar 3 which is among the things that was new for 2011 I believe. I think they gave that feature to the 2010 products also. Once spring comes and if the new version of N360 is out then, the protection level should be about the same depending on how it is tweaked.

Ok thank you floplot. :smileyhappy:
