Is Norton 360 ver.2 having issues with Vista Ultimate 64bit?

I should have typed Eavesdropping Protection. It’s listed between Identity Safe and Norton Add-on Pack in settings on my Xp Home systems. It’s description states that it ‘Blocks suspicious programs that may present a threat to my identity’.  So far, on one of my Xp pc’s it’s currently blocking two different keyloggers.

…Are Eavesdropping Protection and Symprotect Tamper Protection the same thing and not supported for a 64bit OS?

As for the Backup Status Indicator, it’s listed in the Quick Controls list between Automatic Task Popups and Norton Community Watch selections on the Xp pc’s but not on the Vista 64bit system. All 3 pc’s have Norton 360 backup configured the exact same way.

…Is it a 64bit compatible option/feature?

Finaly, my second question from the original post remains, as the Quick Scan results are still showing the RED X’s but the program itself is Green across the board or, atleast, the firewall seems to work as intented.

…Is this a known issue and/or a cause to reinstall Norton?

Tordak,

For question #1, these features are currently not available for 64bit.

Question #2, there was an issue noticed in the auto-fix scan through OneClickSupport.  These have been addressed and should no longer occur.

Thanks NateR!

1. Installation didn’t produce the Eavesdroper Protection option, Backup Status Indicators or Symprotect Tamper Protection in settings(like it did on the Xp 32bit systems) are they supported in a 64bit environment?

2. Help and Support - Support option’s, Quick Scan auto-fix feature shows a Firewall issue and Auto Protect Files issue but the program itself shows all green with the proper options checked to initiate them.

I’ve tried to block applications using the firewall and it works. I can only assume that the Auto Protect Files is working, as well. I’m just curious as to why the support feature would show otherwise?

Symprotect is not available on x64 systems.  This is by design.

I'm not sure what "Eavesdroper Protection" is.  Is there another term Symantec uses for this option?

When you say the install didn't produce "Backup Status Indicators", what exactly does this mean?  When you open the main UI for N360, what does it say under Backup and Restore?  Is it possible that it has not been configured yet?
