Is Norton trying to charge us to death by dividing existing services?

I'm sharing this info in case anyone else wants to complain to Norton about Norton Privacy Monitor being sold as a stand alone product.

It was included as part of our Norton 360 product until it reached "end-of-lifecycle" this month. It was the full Privacy Monitor to opt out of sites. Don't we pay enough for our services already?

I just logged on only to see that Norton is discontinuing this program in I believe April and I need assistance. My cell phone number is somehow associated with someone I have no idea is and I continue to get spam text messages. I have got it off White Pages, Been Verified, Radaris. Can anyone recommend a service that might be able to assist me?

Maybe this is the app in question? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/norton-privacy-builder/lpognpnpncelknkahlngpojfjgdmkodn?hl=en-US

It WAS in BETA having now moved to full access.

The Norton Privacy Manager app was never part of the 360 product line. It was always a separate app under the Norton Labs label. This app gave you Sudo identities that you could use to mask your identity and use a phone number and email address supplied by Norton for you secure communications.

It was included as part of our Norton 360 product until it reached "end-of-lifecycle" this month. It was the full Privacy Monitor to opt out of sites.

I do not remember a feature to opt out of web sites in 360. Can you be more specific? Check your current product and see if you still see what you were referring to.
