IS NORTON ZONE WORTH THE HYPE?

Norton Zone is an add on to my Norton 360.  I am disappointed and now doubt the quality of Norton 360 itself.  I cannot believe that I cannot make the choice as to what I back up or not.  NZ just chugs along regardless and then offers to sell me more space as my allocation is full!  I intended to use it and Dropbox to transfer pics from my cameras when away.  I really do not want GBs of stuff backed up that I have backed up already in other external hard drives.

Am I correct in assuming that when I delete files from NZ it kindly deletes them from all my devices as well?  I spent yesterday replacing files I had removed from NZ space which it had decided to backup (when I got the notice saying my space was full I suspected something was amiss as I had not chosen anything to backup yet!!).  Fortunately my trusy external devices replaced them

I think it is a ploy to force gullible customers to panic and buy more space.  My advice - go buy a couple of TBs WD My Book Live - it is professionally presented, clearly understood and doesn't stuff itself full of stuff I do not want.  I have been trying out various cloud storage systems - so far only Livedrive is worth considering in my view.  I got a free 500GB for a year from PC World and it is excellent.

I will be uninstalling NZ - and probably will not renew my Norton 360 as goodness knows what goes on there behind the scenes!!
