Safety Minder has almost daily been blocking 67.215.65.132, which it states is associated with computer hacking. This started about a month ago. Often, 2 attempts are reported to have been made within minutes of each other. Sometimes, the attempts are reported to have been made early in the morning, when I know that everyone is asleep and not surfing the web. These attempts are so frequent that my OnlineFamily account now lists it as the 2nd most visited website. Review of "All Activity" has not revealed a pattern to me. Norton 360 has not been able to find a virus.
What is a likely cause for these attempts that do not seem to require user input because no one is using the computer at the time? How can I tell which web browser, IE or FF, is likely the culprit? How can I eliminate this problem?
