Is the same version of NIS used on both 32-bit and 64-bit OS?

I am building a new desktop that will be running the 64-bit Windows 7, will I need to change the installation of NIS to a 64-bit program?

The same NIS 2010 installer is used on both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 7 :-)

 

This is also confirmed over here (under "System Requirements"):

Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) Starter/Home Basic/Home Premium/Professional/Ultimate

NIS will run on both 32-bit and 64-bit OS. No need to change the installation of NIS to 64-bit program
