I've been using the 2009 suite for a short time now and the only way I can see to "Block all Traffic" is to:
1. click the tray icon
2. click "internet settings"
3. under Smart Firewall 'Advanced Settings' choose "Configure"
4. click "Block All Network Traffic" and then choose a 'time' on the following popup window.
.....then close each of those 3 windows ....
Only having to reopen the windows when unblocking the traffic is desired.
- - - -What a PIA - - - - to say the least.
On other firewall systems (and older versions of Norton) the tray icon had a simple 'One Click" choice on the icon context menu: (see below)
Is there something I am missing here or is there no simpler way to "Block Traffic"?
ps: if there is no better way - then my suggestion would be to add this "Block Traffic" option once again to the tray icon menu.
Thanks,
