Cannot find where to change any setting referring to this. I have 2 PCs running windows 7, on has Identity Safe auto login and the other does not, why?
Where do I find the version data for Identity Safe?

The version for Identity Safe is tied to your Norton product. On the main product page, click on Support - About.
You can check the version number of the Norton Toolbar by looking at your add ons in your browser.
The versions found in the toolbar are identical (2014.6.0.27), as are the Norton 360 versions. Is there something I'm suppose to download from the Identity Safe website?

There is nothing to download.
As Yank noted, it depends on whether you are using a local or online vault. On the computer that does not auto log on, are you asked to log into your Norton Account before you can enter your vault password? That would indicate an online vault and the option to auto log on is not available.
The only way to regain that option would be to revert to the 2012 version of your product, create a local vault, and then upgrade your product to the current version. Let us know if that is what you wish to do.
That's just it - I am NOT asked to log in to anything. I ONLY have to log in to the vault after Windows boots up if I want my user info automatically entered for the various sites. And, this is on the newer of my 2 PCs, Norton 360 was loaded up recently on it and after the other older PC. So why would I have to revert 2012 version?
Does your main 360 screen show your email address at the top right beside "signed in as"? If so, click on your email address and click on sign out.
Restart the computer and now try to log into Identity Safe. If you first have to enter your Norton Account password and then the Identity Safe password, you have an online vault. Your 360 will keep you logged into your Norton Account for the next time you log into ID Safe. That would be why you only have the one password to enter.
What security software did you have before "Norton 360 was loaded up recently on it"
Yep, the newer PC requires I login to my Norton account prior to opening the vault, why? And the new PC did have McAfee pre-loaded on it but I presume I removed (un-installed) all of it before installing Norton 360.

Having to log into Norton Account first indicates you have an online vault, and as was noted earlier in the thread, you cannot set that to be automatically logged in at system start. Because it is online, this is an added security measure. As you have a newer computer, the newer version of Norton would have been installed. The newer versions no longer let you create a local vault when you do a clean installation of Norton products.
Even if your system is working alright, you may not have removed McAfee completely if you did not use the Consumer Product Removal Tool from McAfee found here http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=TS101331 That will ensure you have no remnants of McAfee that could conflict with Norton.
