Today Norton flagged a file downloaded a few days (Nirsoft Produkey) as a Trojan. I’m confident it isn’t a Trojan, so I chose Restore, and left the check mark on “exclude from future scans” (I forget the exact wording). But I note that now I can find no record of any of this in my Norton Security history. Nor is there anywhere in the Settings/Antivirus/Exclusions section where I can find a record of this exclusion, or for that matter any of my past exclusions (other than the partitions I manually designated to be excluded from scans, along with System Volume Information which Norton puts there by default).
So is there any way to see a record of exclusions that were set in this way?
On a related note, I understand that “Clear file IDs excluded during scans” can be used to clear such exclusions. But the only option is “Clear All.” So is it true that there is no way to see what’s being excluded, and just remove selected exclusions if desired, instead of an “all or none” situation?
Thanks! Clear, thorough explanation. All of my exclusions have probably been via Restore & Exclude, so this fully explains why I can't see the exclusions or selectively rescind any of them.
It does seem kind of odd that the Norton doesn't provide any kind of user-viewable history of a Restore & Exclude, or what led to it. I guess it would be wise to make screenshots or other records during the process if one wants a record.
Sorry, I was still composing my message when you marked Solution.

Users can see the exclusions users add via Exclusions / Low Risks.
Exclusions / Low Risks options lets you exclude disks, folders, and files from risk and Auto-Protect scans. It provides a way for you to exclude known and safe files or application that are detected as a low-security risk.
Excluding low-risk items from scans reduces your protection and should be used only if you have a specific need.
Users cannot see the exclusions Norton adds via Restore & Exclude this file:.
for example:
Restore & Exclude this file: Returns the item to its original location without repairing it and excludes the item from being detected in the future scans. This option is available for the detected viral and non-viral threats.
Clear file IDs excluded during scans
When you run a scan, Norton excludes the files that are added to Scan Exclusions. If you want Norton to scan all the files on your computer, you have to clear the file IDs.
Norton documentation seems to suggest "Clear All" clears exclusions users add via Exclusions / Low Risks.
I've not seen that. I've only seen "Clear All" clear exclusions Norton adds via Restore & Exclude this file:.
Chat Support, some time back, advised me that users cannot see the exclusions Norton adds via Restore & Exclude this file:.
