Is there a way to use old GHO Images with ghost 15?

Hi,

I just installed the Norton Ghost 15. I have realized (also through this forum) that the GHO file is old history. It was not like that for me 2 hours ago.

My problem is that all the images I have are gho files. Can I not use them with the new version???

Please help

If you only need files from the image, you can use Ghost Explorer to extract them. It is available HERE or on your (older version) Ghost CD.

Hi Brian,

 

I still have the 2003 Boot Disk. I also have the original installation disk. I do not have versions 9 and 10 :smileysad:

Does that mean that I can not restore the machine?

I know about the Ghost Explorer option, thanks. But the problem is that I need to restore my machine...

Then you are fine. Don't install Ghost 2003. Run it from the boot disk. If needed you will be able to restore your .gho images.
