Is there any way to reassociate old recovery sets with drives after uninstalling/reinstalling Ghost?

I had to uninstall Norton Ghost 10 to verify that it wasn't causing a conflict with some other software. However, I kept the recovery sets I had previously created on an external USB drive. Now, after reinstalling Ghost, I can't seem to be able to get it to associate those old recovery sets with my 2 hard drives. I suppose I could just start from scratch and create a complete new recovery set, but I just wanted to find out if there was a way to "relink" those old recovery sets.

One followup question: Even if I can't do the above, Ghost does seem to be able to open the old recovery sets manually if I go to "Explore Recovery points" and point it to the folder where the old recovery sets are. Does that mean I could still perform a manual recovery in an emergency?
