Soon after I installed 360 onto a new PC with Windows 8, I started noticing issues that had never occurred on 7.
The 'Vault closed' button on the toolbar changed to 'Setup Vault', which in turn led to 'System restart needed'. If I hovered the mouse over the Norton icon in the System Tray, the icon would disappear. Double clicking the Norton icon on the desktop did nothing. I googled for a fix and it just said run LiveUpdate, which I did to no avail. So every time I started the PC, I would have to restart just so I could use the Vault.
For no apparent reason the problem disappeared about a week ago, only to return today.
Also, the main Norton window tells me I have a security risk, I need a quick scan to be precise. I click the Fix button - nothing happens.
If you guys must get your software done on the cheap overseas, at least subject it to some quality control before you pass it on to us. What you are providing now is not what I paid for.
