Win. xp/sp2/ NISS 2009
Well, today i gave up trying to work with my computer and figure out what to do with all the 16.7.2.10 problems -it was crashing constantly with all the problems everyone has listed.
I called Norton and had my program reinstalled but they gave me a version 16.0.0.125 and things have been wonderful ever since. (well, all day, at least).
My big question is this 'version' (16.0.0.125) considered part of the ISS 2009 program? Since i had to use my NISS 2009 C.D. during the reinstall i'm assuming it 'is' part of the program? LOL
Will i still get program changes via Live Update and get 'higher' versions? and what happens if i get the 'dreaded. 16.7.2.10 again ?!!!!
(actually my friend had no problems with it !!! but she rec'd hers the day 'after' i got mine if that means anything)...anyway thanks to all who tried to help - i got lost in posts and made too many duplicate 're-entries' because i couldn't find my way back to where i originally posted... so this is a 'new' post for me. Will not reply to any other current posts causing even more confusion !! Really so sorry for all of that ! Best to you all & thanks in advance ..
