Is this what is supposed to happen in regards to new "Add Attachments" Feature???

Hi All

When I click on someones added attachment ...for example the Gmer logs I get this

Then when I click on it (not Save file) but just open,it opens in notepad but also opens my Firefox 3.10 Download window as well,Like it has downloaded to my computer somewhere.Is this normal or is it a glitch or have I got a setting wrong???
