Is your Toolbar often missing in Internet Explorer since upgrade to Win10

I've been complaining in this thread

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie11-iewindows_10/what-are-you-doing-to-internet-explorer-11-in/a1fcad98-f9dd-41fa-a5fd-1e77ecc62235

that since the screwed-up Microsoft upgrade to Win10 my IE11 is significantly slower to open and worse still 50% of the time there's no Norton Toolbar, even though it's checked in Tools and it's enabled in the list of Add-ons.

In case this is happening to you, here's what Aaron Pav suggested:

"in IE Internet Options - Security tab, turn off "Enable Protected mode" and restart IE.  Go back to Internet Options, re-enable Protected mode and restart."

It worked for me but with all things concerning the screwed-up Upgrade it could be entirely different when I next power-up.

But it's clear to me that Microsoft is going all it can to get users to move to Edge.
