Hi Everyone,
There is an issue with Norton not getting rid of the old NS registry files. CCleaner also cannot get rid of them either, because NS is blocking CCleaner from deleting them. This issue only started after the NS engine update got installed. This issue never existed before this update, obviously there is something wrong with this update.
I have been in touch with NS support quite a few times with this issue, however it still has not been resolved. To the programmers at Norton Security Deluxe (Symantec) PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.
I have no idea why you would put a compatibility update when Windows hasn't even put out their new Redstone Creator yet, that is like putting the cart before the horse, the cart is not supposed to pull the horse, the horse is supposed to pull the cart.
I have attached the .JPG’s (in a PDF file) that were sent via e-mail yesterday to NORTON to show them that the update that they tried to use to fix everything yesterday, did not work. So the issue has not been fixed yet as of today either. Please ask the programmers to fix this issue, it would be greatly appreciated and I would be most grateful.
Also could a supervisor from the company please call me to let me know that you have received the new updated .JPG’s from me. I have a case number which I can send via private message if you need it, but only to a official Symantec\Norton representative.
