Issues with last two Live (Product) Updates

I am using the current version of Norton 360 for Windows. I run the protection & product update daily.

Each of the last two N360 application updates, once the update is complete (apps shut down, updated, restarted), I lose my internet connection (Windows shows still connected, but cannot open any URL) and have to restart the workstation to re-establish internet connectivity.

This is new behavior (user of Norton 360 for years) with no change to (home) infra, systems, OS, apps, etc. - only change was Norton Update.  Not a gamestopper, but a crappy experience.

Oh, and, BTW, speaking of crappy experience.  This issue appeared several months ago, went away after one app update, but returned in last few months and remains:  At conclusion of Smart Scan, the third results screen ("Advanced Issues") forces me into the upsell 'trial' experience. Neither closing the window NOR selecting cancel kills it - it immediately starts "preparing my free trial", and I then have to cancel by closing the trial window. Really lousy "hard sell" experience - esp in that I am long time subscriber to multi-license 360 and already own Utilities Ultimate.

I have found that it is best to restart the computer after a product update patch. Even though the instructions say no restart necessary, sometimes it is. Then run LiveUpdate again, and if another update was available, install that and restart again. Repeat until no updates are available.
