My PC got infected today with a rogue virus called Antivirus 2008. I thought Norton 360 would/could protect me. Has anyone else had a smilar problem?
I contacted Norton online and after giving them my life story, I was told I would have to pay an online consultant to get it removed. Norton case # {removed} for Tony and the rest that care.
I got really frustrated when my question was not being address. I simply asked if Norton provided a solution to get rid of this rogue virus/spyware. The online tech kept responding with words that did not address my question.
Needless to say, I went ahead and purchased SpyHunter and everything is OK now.
[edit: removed case number for privacy, still available to employees that need it.]
Hi & Welcome
That's a bad one indeed. You should have come here. That would have been easy.
Are you sure you solved it?
Well done
