Hello. I have had Norton installed on my computer for at least a month now with no problems. But today there was an alert popped up. "Your computer is at risk, antivirus has been turned off." I didn't understand what this meant, so I started up the program which had a "Fix Now" button. I clicked it, and it suggested I visit the Norton website. The website suggested I download an update, which I did. After that I restarted my computer, expecting everything to be fixed. But after a few minutes the same alert came up. I clicked the "Fix Now" button again, which once again sent me to the Norton website. This time the website said I should click "RunLive Update" until it said there was no more updates, then restart my computer. Which I did. After this, I checked the program and it said Antivirus was on, and I though everything was fixed. But once again, after a few minutes it gave me the same alert. Can anyone suggest a solution so this can stop happening?
Extra note: The night before this happened, my mother was using my computer. She said she turned on the computer but decided she didn't want to use it, and shut it down using the power button while the computer was still booting up. ;._. This caused problems with the computer itself when I tried to start it up this morning. Could this have caused the problem?
