It needs to renew, but I already renewed??

I bought and downloaded the 2011 version of Antivirus yesterday. When I activate the Norton program, all I get is a notice that IO

need to renew, but I already renewed. What do I do now -- all of the "support" links are deactivated, and I know that this is probably

the wrong place to post this question, but Symantec is the impenetrable black blob, where no useful info comes out, and any

attempt to get help leads to a dead end.  The only thing that DOES work is that they knicked my Visa card for almost $60.
