I am running Nortons 360 22.5.5.15 on Windows 10:

Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz

16.0 GB memory

64-bit Operating system.

Nortons 360 is using 60.5% of CPU and a high % of memory and runs for hours if I let it. The Nortons Performance Graph shows that N360.exe is using 50% with the word IDLE shown.

What is Nortons doing?

Is it necessary to keep running as long as it does?

How do I stop it?

The impact on performance is significant and annoying and has only recently started in the last few days?

Any help would be appreciated
