JUST DISCOVERED THAT ALL MY MICROSOFT UPDATES HAVE BEEN DELETED

I have posted recently, elsewhere on this Board, severe problems with my computer crashing, loss of drivers, and consistent inability to access the internet, even in "Silent Mode", unless I reboot my computer.

Now, I find that all my Microsoft Updates since I purchased this computer have disappeared---normally, one would find them in the list within Control Panel under "Add/Delete Programs".  I download and install updates selectively and ignore those that may not pertain to the programs on my system. I looked online at the Microsoft Update website, which has a list of all the updates I downloaded and installed---and they are listed on their site as being successfully installed!  In fact, I have always seen them listed in the Control Panel on my computer.

Did NIS 2010 delete these updates?

BTW, I have an unresolved case WITH A CASE NUMBER---A case manager was due to give me a call-back today (which is Monday in India) and never did.  I called and got a trainee who put me on indefinite hold after telling me that they were "all busy".  What sort of business is Symantec running here?  I am an academic and reply upon access to and the reliability of my computer----I have lost income from having to spend hours and hours on the phone with these techs since June 18th---(I have to say that one Case Manager did resolve the inabiity to down Live Updates manually).  These other problems such as not being able to access the internet and Outlook Express and experiencing frequent crashes and migrating files is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!  I already have irreparably lost my printer, which no longer can be re-installed (I am savvy as to how to do this and have uninstalled it and re-installed it before) and another of my devices has been damaged beyond repair.  I fear that my entire computer now may be beyond repair; Symantec--- know that I will not sit here and not have something done about this!!!
