KB5001649 Update to correct printer issues in Windows

Today Microsoft released KB5001649 to fix lingering printer BSOD and other issues in Windows. Many users on different forums have posted that the update FAILED while downloading from Windows updates with error 0x80070541. The recommended solution is manually downloading the update directly from the Microsoft Update Catalog. The error appeared on the one machine I have attempted updating thus far as shown in the screenshot below. Manually installing the update was successful. Hoping you all have the same results if you also encounter the error. One thing of note: I also disabled Norton autoprotect during the process of updating as a matter of personal preference.

Since I had manually installed KB5001649 on my main laptop its not being offered again. I will check my other machines for it later in the afternoon.

KB5001649 has been re-released by the look of things.  It is an Optional Update so you can choose whether to install or not.

2021-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5001649); was awaiting 'download / install', yesterday. Today, it's gone. It's not in 'View update history'. I'll wait and see, what pans out.
MY DYMO is battery powered. Although, somewhere in the shed, there's an original 'embossed tape' variant. $TRESS FREE !

Regards.

Boy!! Microsoft is busy pushing OOB updates to all my machines except one. KB4589212, Intel microcode update to my AMD machines. Gotta love it. BOTH  KB5001694 & KB5001567 remain installed on this machine, all others EXCEPT one machine, just got KB4589212 / KB5001567 . All are AMD powered.

On the machines I had NOT installed KB5001694. The update KB5001567 is the only update being offered. The one machine I manually installed KB5001694, KB5001567 IS NOT being offered via LU.

Confirmed: a manual install KB5001649 of works without any issues.

A new check for updates performed few minutes ago, KB5001649 is not listed anymore. Seems that MS pulled it back.
