Keep a record of what an application does to your system when it installs.

Most of the time when installing a program you just see a progressbar and then the program is installed and that's about everything you get from it. If now this program causes serious problems wouldn't it be good if Norton kept track of what files the program added to the drive and what changes it did to the registry. That would also help one to give better feedback to Norton and/or discover if anything it did were not a good thing. Also it should keep track if the uninstaller of the program actually did delete all the files and registry settings it actually added when being installed like some sort of diff feature. And when running if it adds anything else to the system.
